SEPA VOAD Partner Agencies are voluntary 501(c)3 organizations with disaster planning and operational capabilities that provide an active role and have a disaster preparedness or response program for commitment of resources to meet the needs of people at risk or affected by disaster without discrimination. These organizations are located, or provide services through a local affiliate, in the five-county SEPA region.

2-1-1 SEPA / United Way of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey

 

The mission of United Way is to create positive sustainable changes in community conditions for all residents-in-need by mobilizing the caring power of their local community. 2-1-1, a program of the United Way, is a free, easy-to-remember phone number that connects people to important health and human services in the five-county SEPA region– for everyday needs and in crisis situations.

American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter

 

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter seeks to fulfill on a regional level the American Red Cross mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Brethren Disaster Ministries

Bucks County Animal Response Team (BCART)

 

BCART is a 501(c)(3) entity governed under the Pennsylvania State Animal Response TEAM – PASART; a state-wide organization overseeing animal response teams organized at county levels. Our mission is to educate the public about preparing for disaster situations with respect to animals.

The Boy Scouts' vision is to prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law. We achieve this through thousands of dedicated, talented volunteers and a small number of professional staff.

Church World Service

 

Church World Service was born in 1946, in the aftermath of World War II. Seventeen denominations came together to form an agency "to do in partnership what none of us could hope to do as well alone." The mission: Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, heal the sick, comfort the aged, shelter the homeless. More than 65 years later the mission remains, though where and how we accomplish it has changed dramatically.

Cityteam is a nondenominational Christian non-profit serving the poor, the homeless, and the lost in local communities in the United States and around the world.

Eastern PA Conference of the UMC

The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a distinct and diverse community of Christians that come together as one church to join faith and action.  Disaster ministries of the Conference oversees the our work of preparedness, response, and long-term recovery as it serves as a messenger of hope, help and transformation to congregations and communities impacted by catastrophic events.
